After practicing our figure drawings, we then used the models poses as inspiration for croquis drawings. On the croquis, we were asked to draw our vision of our garment from all angles. My garment for the most part looks the exact same from all angles so I chose to draw my croquis with poses that exaggerated the hip to show the movement of the beads.
For two days, we practiced figure drawings with nude models who had two very different figures. The first day of figure drawings, the model was a very curvaceous women and the second had similar features as a fashion model. The tall and lean figure drawings were very different than the curvaceous figure drawings. The techniques we were taught could be applied to both figures but there were still several elements that differed between the two.
